Job summary

INGO Manufacturing Philippines Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support our production line by setting up assembly jigs and equipment, and assisting with inspection tools.

You will troubleshoot issues, repair defective units, and help maintain production efficiency. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in plastic manufacturing or similar environments, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required; vocational training is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in plastic manufacturing or similar.
• Able to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up assembly jigs, fixtures, tools, and equipment before production.
• Troubleshoot problems and repair defective units from the assembly line.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Check and maintain assembly tools and equipment.
• Monitor calibration of inspection/testing equipment with Quality.
• Ensure components are complete and correct before assembly.
• Coordinate defective components with the Quality team for action.
• Train production operators in troubleshooting assembly defects.
• Ensure compliance with repair procedures, quality standards, safety rules, and work instructions.
• Provide technical support to the Production Team Leader and act as reliever when needed.
