Job summary

FEU in Cavite invites applications for an Assembly Engineer Internship. You will perform equipment maintenance, support improvements, and interpret technical drawings to aid production and tooling projects.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical, and Process Engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience in PM/Calibration, inspection, and documentation while contributing to efficiency and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic PM and buy-off for Assembly EOL equipment.
• Support continuous improvements with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Measure, construct, and repair precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair major issues on EOL equipment.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on tooling equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and document activities.

Internship opportunity for Assembly Engineers to perform equipment maintenance, support continuous improvements, and interpret technical drawings in Carmona, Cavite.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Perform equipment Periodic PM and Buy-off for Assembly EOL.
• Support equipment continuous improvements in collaboration with Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, and Process Engineering teams.
• Measure, construct, and repair precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair major issues on EOL equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on tooling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Recommend improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Support PM/Calibration activities of Post Test Equipment under supervision.
• Perform actual PM/Calibration of Post Test Equipment and complete related documentation until closure.

About You

The company is looking for:

• BS Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar; PLC skills are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Physically fit to perform job duties.
