About the Role

Our client is excited to offer a remote internship opportunity for an aspiring professional in Athlete Career Development. This internship is designed for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in supporting athletes as they navigate their careers both during and after their sporting journeys. You will work remotely, assisting the team with research, resource development, and administrative tasks related to career counseling, educational guidance, and transition planning for athletes. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and compiling resources for athlete career counseling, including educational and vocational opportunities.
• Support the development of workshops and informational materials for athletes transitioning out of sport.
• Help manage and update databases of athlete profiles, career goals, and support resources.
• Provide administrative support for career development sessions and events (virtual).
• Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in athlete career development and welfare.
• Communicate with athletes to gather information and provide basic support under supervision.
• Assist in coordinating communication efforts with educational institutions and potential employers.
• Learn and apply organizational policies and procedures related to athlete support services.
• Contribute to team meetings by providing research findings and suggestions.
• Help ensure a positive and supportive experience for all athletes engaged with our development programs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Psychology, Human Resources, Sociology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sports, athlete welfare, and career development.
• Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
• High level of discretion and professionalism.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace.
• Previous experience in an administrative or research support role is a plus.
