Job summary

Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a network engineer to support Datacenter networks in Asia Pacific, including Singapore and Hong Kong.

You will perform network change and operation support, manage the regional network and drive solution delivery, and provide Layer3/Layer4 and security support for WAN/LAN while coordinating projects.

The role requires willingness to travel across Asia Pacific and to work on-site at the Tai Seng Ave office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Network Administration or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in network engineering, project and operation support.
• Hands-on experience for Network Operation and Project involvement.
• Practical knowledge in switch, router, wireless, firewall, VPN and QoS.
• Good Understanding of implementing network architecture.
• Experience in ISP network planning and installation.
• Experience in data center operation, customer technical support.
• Knowledge of system monitoring and backup tool.
• Willing to travel for business trips (Asia Pacific) or on-site support when required.
• A highly motivated individual with a continuous learning mindset and a vision to make a mid-to-long-term contribution to the organizational success.
• Fully work in office located at Tai Seng Ave.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Datacenter (Singapore and Hongkong) Network Change & Operation Support.
• Manage Asia Regional Network and Solution Delivery.
• Responsible for managing and actualizing the assigned Regional Network Project.
• Support Customer Network (WAN/LAN) Operation.
• Provide Layer3 & Layer4 and Security Support.
• Manage Data, Voice or Video Networks.
• Project management (Incl. internal process management).
