Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking an Architectural Technical Specialist to review drawings for buildability, accuracy and compliance with BCA and SCDF requirements.

You will coordinate with C&S, M&E, ID and other disciplines, and mentor junior staff to uphold project documentation standards. The role demands a Diploma/degree in Architecture or Building & Construction and a minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in institutional or residential projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture or Building & Construction.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Background in institutional or residential projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings for technical accuracy, buildability and compliance.
• Ensure designs comply with BCA, SCDF and relevant authority requirements.
• Review details, sections, schedules, specifications and shop drawings.
• Coordinate architectural works with C&S, M&E, ID and other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and identify construction, workmanship and compliance issues.
• Check site conditions against drawings and highlight discrepancies and technical issues.
• Resolve construction and technical issues with consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Review RFIs, contractor submissions, material submissions and technical proposals.
• Support authority submissions, tender documentation and construction documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and act as a technical reviewer to maintain project and documentation standards.
