Job summary

Boogertman + Partners Architects is seeking an Architect/Urban Designer to lead large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects from initiation to finalisation. The role requires strong Revit skills, detailed design development, and coordinating with project teams and clients.

You will represent the practice at briefing meetings, produce design guidelines, massing concepts, and co-ordinate submissions. Willingness to travel internationally is essential.

Qualifications

• Master in Architecture/ Urban Design Masters (MUD).
• Registered with SACAP.
• Advanced in use of Revit (certification preferable).
• Sketches to be done in Revit and by hand.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Adobe Master Suite for graphic design purposes.
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software for presentation purposes.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Has full involvement in multiple large scale mixed use and commercial projects from initiation to finalisation
• Uses appropriate methods and interpersonal styles to develop and motivate and guide project team
• Must be willing to frequently travel Internationally

Minimum Criteria and Requirements of Applicants:

• Master in Architecture/ Urban Design Masters (MUD)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience (After Post grad)
• Registered with SACAP
• Advanced in use of Revit (certification of such preferable)
• Complete B+P Revit Assessment with minimum 70% score
• Sketches to be done in Revit and by hand
• Intermediate knowledge of the Adobe Master Suite for graphic design purposes
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software for presentation purposes
• Advanced knowledge and history of council documentation and submission process
• Advanced knowledge of technical detailing and construction documents
• Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management
• Impeccable record keeping processes
• A high standard of communication skills and attention to detail required
