Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is hiring a Store Cashier for RTM- Gil Fernando Arcade (GILF) in Manila. You will handle payments, operate registers and scanning devices, and ensure accurate receipts and reports of sales.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (business or related), at least 1 year of cashiering experience, POS familiarity, strong customer service and communication skills, and be trustworthy with attention to detail. You’ll maintain a clean checkout area and assist customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any four-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Gil Fernando Arcade.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
