Job summary

GECO Philippines, part of GECO Asia Group, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to manage end-to-end AR processes and guide a small AR team in a structured shared services environment. The role emphasizes accurate cash application, resolving unapplied cash, and maintaining customer accounts with strong Excel reporting skills.

The ideal candidate has a finance/accountancy degree and at least four years in AR or general accounting, with experience in an SSC and Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or General Accounting.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Team-oriented with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee KPIs and performance of a small AR team (1–3 Senior Specialists).
• Train and onboard new AR Accountants and Senior Specialists.
• Review outputs of junior team members for accuracy and timeliness.
• Allocate customer payments to accounts/invoices daily.
• Investigate unapplied cash and coordinate with Sales/Collections.
• Maintain AR ledgers and reconcile AR sub-ledger with GL.
• Prepare manual invoices, debit/credit notes; intercompany work.
• Ensure SLAs are met; support other finance processes as needed.
