Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group seeks an experienced AR Manager in Alabang to own wholesale and retail receivables, lead a six-person team, and ensure accurate cash application and reconciliation. You will work with the US Controller, operating on US Pacific hours with autonomy and accountability for aging and DSO performance.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 7+ years AR experience including team leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology, Finance, or similar.
• 7+ years in Accounts Receivable with 3+ years leading a team of five or more.
• Direct experience collecting US B2B trade receivables including negotiations and dispute closure.
• Background in distribution, trading, wholesale, or high-volume goods business.
• Strong grasp of order-to-cash: credit, invoicing, cash application, deductions, reserves.
• Reconcile receipts across payment types back to bank and ERP.
• Experience creating/updating customer master records in ERP (address, banking, terms).
• Strong Excel: lookups, pivots, reconciling large data sets.
• Clear spoken and written English; experience communicating with US management.
• Willingness to work onsite in Alabang on a night shift aligned to US Pacific hours.

Responsibilities

• Collect aging on wholesale and retail and prioritize by exposure.
• Apply cash accurately from ACH, wire, check, and card; clear unapplied cash.
• Reconcile receipts by payment type back to bank and ERP (Odoo).
• Manage deductions: credits, promos, rebates, chargebacks; resolve issues.
• Maintain customer records in Odoo: address, banking, term updates.
• Review credit apps, monitor limits, and advise holds/releases.
• Report aging, DSO, cash forecast, and bad-debt reserves to US controllers.
• Lead a six-person AR team across two functions; balance workload and coach.
