Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is seeking an Aquatech Specialist to collect and analyze market and farm data for growth opportunities. The role focuses on performance assessment, competitor profiling, and market research across multiple territories in the Philippines.

You will build farm databases, prepare intelligence reports, and collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Management teams to drive expansion strategies while traveling to field sites as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in BS Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of field sales, aquaculture ops, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of aquaculture production systems and fish farming practices.
• Proficient in data gathering, market analysis, and competitor assessment.
• Analytical with good report-writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with leadership abilities.
• Willing to conduct extensive fieldwork and travel within territories.
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and data tools.

Responsibilities

Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is looking for a highly analytical and field-oriented Aquatech Specialist to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Aquatech Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market and farm data to support business growth and strategic decision-making. The role focuses on building performance assessment, competitor profiling, market research, farm mapping, and identifying farm expansion opportunities to strengthen the Company's position in the aquaculture industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct farm visits and gather technical, operational, and market data within the assigned territory
• Monitor and analyze farm performance, stocking activities, production trends, and industry developments
• Perform competitor profiling, including product offerings, pricing strategies, market activities, and customer penetration
• Conduct market research and provide insights on emerging opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends
• Identify and evaluate potential farm expansion opportunities and new market areas
• Develop and maintain an updated database of fish farms, distributors, and industry stakeholders
• Prepare and submit analytical reports, market intelligence reports, and territory assessments
• Assist in developing market development strategies based on gathered data and field observations
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical, and Management Teams regarding market intelligence and growth opportunities
• Participate in technical surveys, customer visits, industry events, and other field-related activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or any related course
• With at least 1 year of experience in field sales, aquaculture operations, or related industry, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of aquaculture production systems and fish farming practices
• Knowledgeable in data gathering, market analysis, and competitor assessment
• Highly analytical with strong report-writing and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership skills
• Willing to conduct extensive fieldwork and travel within assigned territories
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data management tools
• Preferably with a valid driver's license and driving skills
