Job summary

Vibehackers seeks a Forward Deployed Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and ship production AI applications for enterprise customers using Claude and frontier models. You will own end-to-end delivery from discovery to deployment, collaborating with Genpact teams for sustainable solutions.

You will embed with strategic clients, turning ambiguous business problems into production AI apps, and provide white-glove deployment support inside enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or software engineer with consulting experience).
• Daily, hands-on fluency with Claude or a comparable frontier LLM used as a build tool.
• Production experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
• Track record of shipping production applications or measurable customer-facing work.
• Strong client-facing communication; ability to operate autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance considerations for enterprise AI deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build production applications inside customer systems using Claude and other frontier LLMs.
• Deliver technical artifacts such as agentic workflows, MCP servers, sub-agents, agent skills, evaluation harnesses, and integrations.

Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer on Genpact’s Applied AI team, you will embed directly with strategic enterprise customers to turn ambiguous business problems into production AI applications using Claude and other frontier models. You will own a workstream end-to-end: discovery, architecture, build, demo, and handoff, and provide white-glove deployment support inside enterprise environments.

• Background in top-tier product/startup/frontier-lab/consulting environments or credible self-built equivalents.
• Experience in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery teams.

Interview Process

• Initial conversation with hiring manager (45 min).
• Portfolio walkthrough (45 min) demonstrating recent work with Claude or comparable models.
• Live build exercise (90 min) — pair-build or take-home using Claude.
• Client simulation with senior delivery and simulated stakeholder.
• Final conversations with practice leadership.

Location & Travel

• Hybrid role with significant on-site presence; the posting references Bangalore and also notes a US-based hybrid model. Expect 25-50% travel to client sites and Genpact delivery centers.
