Job summary

Covestic Inc. is seeking creative, driven AI Engineers who love prototyping with LLMs and solving real-world problems with agentic workflows. This role rewards fast iteration, hands-on prototyping, and practical output over perfect software engineering pedigree.

You’ll work with Claude, GPT-4, Perplexity, or custom tools, focusing on prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and lightweight integrations to ship value quickly. Collaborative with SREs and business teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience building LLM-powered workflows and agents.
• Familiarity with prompt logic and API chaining.
• Understanding testing, reliability, and handoff to SREs.
• Ability to prototype quickly without requiring deep software background.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly prototype new Skills, tools, or workflows using client platform.
• Build LLM-powered functions and small agents using Claude, OpenAI, and others.
• Work with SREs to scale, secure, and stabilize anything worth keeping.
• Collaborate with the business team to validate ideas, monetize, and ship.
• Use Claude Code or your own tools to test and validate your work.
• Participate in weekly brainstorms, async reviews, and demo sessions.

This role is perfect for someone who might not have the deepest software engineering background — but knows how to get things working, fast, with GenAI tools, APIs, and clever chaining.

If you’re building with Claude, GPT-4, Perplexity, or custom tools and you know your way around prompt engineering, agent logic, or Slack bots — we want to talk.

You Might Be A Fit If You…

• Have built something (anything!) with LLMs, agents, or GenAI-powered workflows
• Are comfortable stringing together APIs, prompt logic, and lightweight tools
• Understand the basics of testing, reliability, and how to hand work off to engineers/SREs
• Don’t wait for permission — you build, test, and iterate fast
• Care more about solving the problem than how you got there
• Are curious about agent orchestration, Slack automations, or multi-model coordination
