Inchcape is pursuing an exciting strategy to evolve its global business and lead industry transformation. We seek an Applications Development Team Manager to drive enterprise app development strategy, governance, and GenAI solutions across the organization.

You'll lead design and delivery of modern web apps, microservices, GenAI assistants, and enterprise integrations while coaching engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable systems with strong governance and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in technical leadership or end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Strong Azure cloud architecture and GenAI/LLM experience.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English/Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise app development strategy with Azure governance and AI standards.
• Lead design and delivery of full-stack and AI-driven solutions, including microservices and integrations.
• Build and govern GenAI capabilities: orchestration, prompt lifecycle, safety controls.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee Azure-based platforms (AI Foundry, OpenAI, AKS, API Management, Data Factory).
• Coach and develop engineering teams; promote best practices in code reviews and testing.
• Monitor performance and optimize cloud resources and AI consumption.

Our Data Analytics Platform is looking for an Applications Development Team Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of enterprise application development and GenAI solutions. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and innovation to drive scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products across the organization.

What youll do

• Define and drive the enterprise application development strategy, ensuring consistent adoption of Azure reference architectures, cloud governance, and AI service standards.
• Lead the design and delivery of full-stack and AI-driven solutions, including modern web applications, microservices, GenAI assistants/agents, and enterprise integrations.
• Build and govern reusable GenAI capabilities such as orchestration patterns, tool/function calling frameworks, prompt lifecycle management, safety controls, and knowledge systems including RAG and vector search.
• Partner with Enterprise Architects and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
• Oversee Azure-based platforms and services including AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AKS, API Management, App Services, Data Factory, and Power Platform solutions.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineering teams, driving best practices in architecture, code reviews, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, cloud resources, and AI consumption while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance, security, and operational standards.

About you

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or people management with end-to-end delivery ownership.
• Strong Azure cloud architecture expertise and experience with enterprise application development or GenAI/LLM solutions.
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• English and/or Spanish proficiency.
