Job summary

Avaloq AG is seeking an Application Manager for its Service Operations division. You will be responsible for the technical operation and application support of the Enterprise Data Management system and collaborate with technical stakeholders, business users, and analysts to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient processes.

You will plan releases, monitor services, manage incidents, and contribute to automation and process improvements across the service landscape.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable and reliable operation of business-critical applications in a production environment.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement application releases, upgrades, and operational changes.
• Monitor application services, interfaces, and batch processing to ensure service quality and availability.
• Perform incident, problem, and exception management, including participation in on-call support activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, automation scripts, and monitoring solutions.
• Support and continuously improve operational processes and framework procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, operating manuals, and support procedures.
• Participate in regular service reviews and operational meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to migration, upgrade, and transformation projects within the service landscape.
• Drive automation and standardization initiatives to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Job description

In your role as Application Manager you will be part of Avaloq’s Service Operations division. With our services we support more than 30 banks globally and ensure their processes run smoothly, compliant, and efficiently.

As Application Manager you are responsible for the technical operation and application support for the Enterprise Data Management system “Temenos Data Source” (TDS aka T-ProDB) for Financial Instrument data management. You work closely with technical stakeholders, business users and business analysts.
