Job summary

Pru Life UK in Manila is seeking a software developer/analyst to understand PLUK applications and enhance and support the core admin system by performing impact analysis and implementing efficient solutions.

You will work with the front-end team to ensure robust end-to-end software lifecycle, document scope changes, prepare technical specifications, conduct testing, maintain changes, and ensure compliance with IT governance policies.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain PLUK Core admin system
• Collaborate with front-end team to ensure robust end-to-end software lifecycle
• Ensure the Applications Management function aligns with company strategy
• Define and document scope changes during the project life cycle
• Collaborate with business teams to understand and suggest efficient solutions
• Analyze problems and implement appropriate technical solutions
• Prepare the technical specifications
• Maintain and document the changes
• Conduct Unit/Integration testing
• Complete assignments within agreed deadlines
• Quality analysis of the programs/system before acceptance testing
• Work with Business Analyst to deliver robust and error-free applications
• Ensure all development and implementations comply with IT governance policy
• Provide technical review of code done by junior members to motivate the team
