Job summary

Tan Delta Electric Corporation in Metro Manila seeks an Registered Electrical Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our technical support team. You will own issues from customers, diagnose and resolve, train users on testing equipment, and assist in creating training materials and presentations.

The role covers testing of electrical power equipment in substations, power plants, and process plants, and requires strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer with active license.
• Minimum of 1 year work related experience.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical issues reported by Tan Delta customers and drive resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions using manuals and Tan Delta resources.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Department Manager per procedures.
• Assist in product consultation, training and support for power network testing equipment.
• Assist in developing and delivering training for OMICRON and NON-OMICRON products.
• Conduct demo, end-user and application training.
• Provide application training to Tan Delta personnel.
• Prepare training manuals and PowerPoint presentations on testing applications.
• Test electrical power equipment in substations, power plants and process plants.

Job description

• Taking ownership of technical issues reported by Tan Delta customers and seeing problems through to resolution




• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system technical issues using manuals and knowledge resources provided by Tan Delta foreign principal.




• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the Department Manager




• Assist in providing product consultation, training and support within all areas of the power network on primary and secondary testing equipment.




• Assist in developing and delivering training for OMICRON and NON-OMICRON products.




• Assist in conducting demo, end-user and application training.




• Assist in providing application training to Tan Delta technical personnel.




• Assist in creating training manuals and prepare Power Point Presentations on different testing applications.




• Testing of Electrical power equipment in substations, power plants and process plants not limited to Power control center, Motor control center, Current Transformer, Voltage Transformer, CVT, Circuit breaker, switchgear, Power Transformer, Reactors, Earthing, power cables etc.




• Performs additional work-related tasks assigned by supervisor or managers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
