Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer / Application Lead Developer to own frontend development, engineering standards, code quality, and technical mentorship across mobile and web apps.

This on-site role is based in Pasig City, reporting to the Platform Engineering Lead. The ideal candidate will remain hands-on while setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality mobile and web applications using Flutter/Dart, React

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience including leadership roles.
• Strong production experience with Flutter/Dart.
• Proven experience shipping Flutter apps to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with React Native and React for Web.
• Familiarity with state management patterns (BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, Context).
• Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, build tools, and release pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD, app store deployment, web deployment, and crash analytics (Firebase Crashlytics).
• Strong eye for design, usability, and visual consistency.
• Excellent communication with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Are you a Senior Frontend Developer or Tech Lead who enjoys staying hands-on with coding while leading and mentoring a development team?

Our client is looking for an Application Lead Developer to take ownership of frontend development, engineering standards, code quality, and technical mentorship across mobile and web applications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop production applications using Flutter/Dart, React Native, and React for Web.

• Establish and maintain frontend coding standards, patterns, and best practices.

• Conduct code and pull-request reviews, ensuring quality, performance, and excellent user experience.

• Collaborate with the Platform Engineering Lead on technical and frontend architecture decisions.

• Lead and mentor frontend engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and structured feedback.

• Manage the technical handover of application code from external development partners.

• Assess code quality, identify technical debt, and develop remediation plans.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to estimate, plan, and deliver development backlog items.

• Maintain a strong focus on UI/UX, usability, and visual consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of frontend development experience, with 2+ years in a Senior or Lead role.

• Strong production experience with Flutter/Dart — REQUIRED.

• Proven experience shipping Flutter applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Production experience with React Native and successfully shipped applications on at least one platform.

• Production experience with React for Web and shipped web applications.

• Strong understanding of state management patterns such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, and Context.

• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including native build tools, platform conventions, and release pipelines.

• Experience with CI/CD, app store deployment, web deployment, and crash analytics, such as Firebase Crashlytics.

• Strong eye for design, usability, and visual consistency.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.

• Startup experience is a plus.
