Job summary

HCM Nexus Consulting Inc is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead the product development and production lifecycle for apparel or fashion goods. You will coordinate with design, production, and logistics to meet quality, cost targets, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced manufacturing or export environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in garment or accessory merchandising, excellent communication with buyers, and the ability to manage multiple timelines and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• At least 5 years merchandising experience in garments, accessories, or export manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with buyers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact between clients/buyers and internal teams for merchandising and production matters.
• Lead product development planning and execution, including sample coordination, pricing, material selection, and approvals.
• Manage order tracking from development through delivery, ensuring timelines, cost, and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate with design, technical, sourcing, and production teams to align on client expectations and feasibility.
• Monitor production progress, anticipate delays, and communicate proactively with buyers and factory teams.
• Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and sales data to support strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous process improvement in product development and order management workflows.
