• An Apparel Designer is responsible for creating original clothing and accessory designs, from concept through to finished product. This role combines creativity, technical knowledge, and an understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and manufacturing processes. Key duties typically include:
• Design Creation: Developing sketches and design concepts for clothing, footwear, or accessories, ensuring they align with brand identity and target market.
• Fabric Selection: Researching and selecting appropriate materials, considering factors like texture, color, durability, and cost.
• Pattern Making: Creating technical drawings or patterns for garments and ensuring accurate specifications for production.
• Prototyping: Collaborating with pattern makers and manufacturers to create prototypes or samples of designs, and making adjustments based on fit and function.
• -High School Graduate, ALS ,Senior/Junior High or HIGHER
• -With experience is a plus or w/o experience as long as willing to be trained
• -Physically fit
• -good with customer service is an edge
