Job summary

GOLDEN ABC, INCORPORATED in the Philippines seeks a Fashion Buyer/Product Officer to manage select product categories and collaborate with sourcing, development, production, and delivery for merchandise sold in our stores. You will work closely with vendors to ensure that every piece of a collection is delivered in-full and on-time.

This role requires strong negotiation, costing knowledge, fabric sourcing, and keen attention to detail, with on-site reporting at Balintawak, QC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Clothing Technology, Fashion Design and Merchandising, or related courses.
• At least 1 year of experience as buyer in fashion retail or supplier/manufacturing serving fashion companies.
• Knowledge in costing and basic garment production.
• Knowledge in fabric sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills and with a keen eye to details.
• Amenable to reporting on-site at Balintawak, QC.

• Monitors progress of all orders in key stages from development to delivery or via factory visits.
• Alerts concerned departments whenever a PO is in danger of not meeting the target delivery date or if there are inconsistencies/ deviations from agreed plans.
• Issues documentation for all date changes and recommends penalties, if applicable.
• Acts as the vendors’ point person in GABC for the entire order process, including product development.
