Job summary

Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. is seeking an individual contributor to support APAC financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and financial analysis. The role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory filings across the APAC region.

You'll collaborate with Finance, Legal, and external auditors, and drive SOX compliance, while leading improvements in close processes using ERP and AI-enabled tools to support business decision-making.

Qualifications

Role requires CPA and a Bachelor's in Accounting.
5–8 years in financial reporting, compliance, or controllership.
Experience with SOX and external audits is preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and monthly close processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, analyze, and manage APAC financial reporting deliverables for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Investigate significant account movements and provide explanations.
Coordinate APAC compliance and statutory requirements including licenses, registrations, filings.
Ensure compliance with policies, US GAAP, SOX, and accounting standards.
Stay current on regulatory changes and propose updates.
Collaborate with FSSC teams, Corporate Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, external auditors and consultants.
Lead process improvements and automation using ERP, reporting tools, AI-enabled solutions.
Support system implementations and global initiatives.
Maintain SOPs and process inventories for governance.
