Job summary

BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines Branch is seeking an experienced settlements specialist to manage end-to-end processing for Asia Equity Markets. You will liaise with overseas brokers and custodians, resolve trade pre-matching issues and drive STP.

The role requires 3-5 years of related experience and strong focus on accuracy and timely settlements. You will contribute to back-office operations supporting the bank's investment services and settlement workflows, collaborating with global teams

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant experience in settlements.
• Experience with Asia Equity Markets is a plus.
• Ability to respond to client inquiries within given TAT.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in end-to-end Settlement processing especially Asia Equity Markets and Stock Connect.
• Liaising with overseas brokers/custodians over trade-pre-matching issues.
• Reducing fails and/or potential fails by pairing off or partialize down deliveries.
• Analyzing reasons for various client failures and providing timely heads up to the desk.
• Communicating with clients and internal teams to ensure trades are settled on time and accurately.
• Should be capable to produce error-free work consistently.
• Timely resolution of Nostro and depot breaks.
• Updating back-end systems data to ensure straight-through processing (STP).
• Follow up outstanding trades and ensure records are updated in EOD and daily checklists.
• Experience in handling BUYINs, irregular settlement trades and fail fees.
• Knowledge on collateral and stock lending.
• Able to handle email queries and respond to clients within the given TAT.
• Regularly updating SOPs as changes occur for the Markets.
• Proficient in Swift messages (settlement).
