Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking a Data Protection Officer for the Philippines to oversee global data protection processes and projects. You will manage tools and records of processing activities while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. A legal or business degree, 5+ years in data protection, and strong English communication are required; GDPR knowledge is a plus.

• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in performing project work.
• Knowledge of GDPR is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as data protection officer for the Philippines.
• Draft, update and manage all global data protection processes and procedures for Avaloq.
• Initiate and manage global data protection projects.
• Manage data protection tools and systems.
• Execute and supervise annually repeating Group Data Protection tasks.
• Maintain records of processing activities.

Job Description

Your key tasks

• Performing the role of data protection officer for the Philippines
• Drafting, updating and managing all (global) data protection processes and procedures for Avaloq
• Initiating and managing global data protection projects
• Managing data protection tools
• Execution and controlling of annually repeating tasks of Group Data Protection
• Managing the records of processing activities

Qualifications

• Candidate must be bachelor's degree holder in Legal, Business management or other similar programs
• Data protection experience of at least five (5) years certified
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in performing project work
• Knowledge of GDPR regulation is a strong advantage

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Experience in using and assessing AI tools
