Job summary

Avaloq, a Switzerland-based leader in wealth management technology, is seeking a Data Protection Officer for the Philippines. You will draft and manage global data protection processes, lead cross-border projects, and oversee data protection tools to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Legal or related field, at least five years of data protection experience with GDPR knowledge, excellent English communication, and proven project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business management or similar programs.
• Data protection experience of at least five years, certified.
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in performing project work.
• Knowledge of GDPR is a strong advantage.

• Performing the role of data protection officer for the Philippines.
• Drafting, updating and managing all (global) data protection processes and procedures for Avaloq.
• Initiating and managing global data protection projects.
• Managing data protection tools.
• Execution and controlling of annually repeating tasks of Group Data Protection.

Job Description

Your key tasks

• Performing the role of data protection officer for the Philippines
• Drafting, updating and managing all (global) data protection processes and procedures for Avaloq
• Initiating and managing global data protection projects
• Managing data protection tools
• Execution and controlling of annually repeating tasks of Group Data Protection
• Managing the records of processing activities

Qualifications

• Candidate must be bachelor's degree holder in Legal, Business management or other similar programs
• Data protection experience of at least five (5) years certified
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in performing project work
• Knowledge of GDPR regulation is a strong advantage
