Job summary

Avaloq, a Swiss-headquartered wealth-management technology provider, is hiring a Data Protection Officer for the Philippines. You will oversee privacy programs, ensure regulatory alignment, and collaborate with global teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in legal/business management, at least five years of data protection experience, and strong English communication. GDPR knowledge is a plus, and hybrid work is offered.

Your key tasks

• Performing the role of data protection officer for the Philippines
• Drafting, updating and managing all (global) data protection processes and procedures for Avaloq
• Initiating and managing global data protection projects
• Managing data protection tools
• Execution and controlling of annually repeating tasks of Group Data Protection
• Managing the records of processing activities

Qualifications

• Candidate must be bachelor's degree holder in Legal, Business management or other similar programs
• Data protection experience of at least five (5) years certified
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in performing project work
• Knowledge of GDPR regulation is a strong advantage

It would be a real bonus if you have
