Job summary

Sun Life in Taguig, Philippines seeks an experienced Cloud DevOps professional to design, deploy, and sustain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications. You will collaborate across engineering, security, and operations to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years of total IT experience with cloud infrastructure, engineering, or platform operations.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure for enterprise apps.
• Administer existing AWS infra and support EC2, Kubernetes clusters, databases, and related services.
• Develop and maintain configurations for compute, storage, networking, IAM, backups, monitoring and logging.
• Monitor resources for availability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infra, networking, deployment, access, and service issues.
• Collaborate with application, security, operations, vendors and stakeholders to deliver compliant cloud solutions.

Cloud Dev Ops is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on AWS cloud services, automation, governance, operational stability, performance, and cost optimization while collaborating with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

• Strong AWS cloud services knowledge across compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, monitoring, and security.
• Hands‑on automation and scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, encryption, access controls, vulnerability management, and monitoring.
