Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics preferred but not required.
• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, PRM, CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) preferable but not mandatory
• 8+ years auditing in financial institutions or equivalent experience is advantageous but not required
• Strong leadership, self-starter attitude, independent work, problem solving and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing, multi-jurisdiction environment across time zones
• Proficiency in MS Office; Teammate experience is advantageous
• Ability to prepare detailed audit working papers with minimal supervision
• Experience with data analytics is highly desired
• Ability to work independently, engage with senior stakeholders, and multi-task under pressure

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Take responsibility for executing audit projects and deliverables on time and accurately
• Demonstrate professionalism and leadership during planning interviews, walkthroughs, and status meetings
• Escalate significant concerns, budget variances, or delays that affect audit projects
• Perform work adhering to Policies and Standards, professional auditing standards and regulatory requirements
• Design and execute testing approaches; ensure clear, concise work papers support reviews
• Apply analytical skills in risk assessment and planning with Business and Audit Partners
• Understand business risks, controls, processes, and applicable laws and regulations
• Communicate with senior management, lead discussions on risk and issues
• Lead other audit team members to ensure quality and timely delivery
