Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is hiring for an onsite Materials Planning/SIOP role in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines. You will contribute to demand forecasting, capacity planning, and process optimization within an ERP environment (E1/JDE/SAP).

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with 2+ years’ experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, plus excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
• Develops standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize resources and meet delivery expectations.
• Supports indicators to provide visibility of market trends and demand.
• Identifies demand streams and data relationship linkages.
• Works with product development, sales and marketing to develop demand forecasts.
• Plans capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
• Assists in monthly production volume planning using forecasts, inventory, orders and capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.


• Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.


• Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.


• Identifies appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.


• May work with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.


• Supports in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.


• May work with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the Business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.


• Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability and sustainability.


• May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.


• Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.


• Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.


• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.


• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.


• Excellent understanding on ERP system (E1,JDE or SAP)


• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.


• Work Schedule: 06:00am to 04:00pm
