Job summary

San Miguel Foods seeks a licensed veterinary professional to implement animal health and husbandry procedures across our broiler operations in the Philippines, ensuring cost-effective production and adherence to schedules.

You will monitor flock performance, enforce biosecurity measures, coordinate farm operations, audit records, manage inventories, and support asset care through preventive maintenance and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine or animal science
• Possession of a Veterinary or Agriculture license is an advantage
• Must be proficient in MS Office Applications
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is preferred
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills
• Willing to be assigned to any location within the Philippines
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• Provides production and asset management support by validating the accuracy of chick, feed, veterinary medicine, and production records to prevent profit leaks, conducting facility audits to safeguard company assets and ensure proper housing conditions, and maintaining assigned service vehicles through regular preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides technical and animal health support to farms by monitoring flock performance, implementing biosecurity and disease prevention programs, coordinating farm operations, conducting audits and investigations, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring compliance with production and transport requirements

• Provides farm business and regulatory support by conducting operational reviews with farm owners, facilitating partner payments and audit requirements, ensuring complete compliance documentation and permits before chick loading, and coordinating activities to maintain efficient and compliant farm operations.

• Provides production and asset management support by validating the accuracy of chick, feed, veterinary medicine, and production records to prevent profit leaks, conducting facility audits to safeguard company assets and ensure proper housing conditions, and maintaining assigned service vehicles through regular preventive maintenance.
