Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an experienced software engineer for an on-site role in Makati. You will develop backend services in C#, create REST APIs, and work with MS SQL. Experience with Angular 12.0+ and PHP back-end development is required, with React knowledge a plus.

You will collaborate closely with Apex Group’s Australia team, contribute to design, development, and documentation, and support ongoing modernization of our software stack in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 6+ years of PHP development for backend applications.
• Strong knowledge of Symfony Framework and Composer dependency manager.
• 6+ years of MS SQL development.
• 3+ years of Angular 12.0+ or higher, React knowledge is a plus.
• 3+ years of JavaScript, HTML, CSS knowledge.
• Release management and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and document high quality software solutions that meet and exceed business and operational requirements.
• Maintain software systems with code reviews, release management, testing, bug tracking and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancements.
• Maintain documentation for application development and usage.

About the role:

The ideal candidate would bring solid experience in C# Development for backend and REST APIs, Entity Framework. Experience in MS SQL Development and in Angular 12.0 or higher is expected. Additional knowledge with JavaScript, VB .net application development, SSRS Reporting would be beneficial.

For this role, you would be working closely with Apex Group’s Australia team.

This is an On-site role in Makati with 4 days in the office.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test and document high quality software solutions that meet and exceed business and operational requirements, interpret business requirements for projects and BAU changes, then transform them into effective software build.
• Maintain software systems to ensure deliverables are aligned to stakeholder and client requirements, continuous improvement of software development processes, including code review, release management, testing, bug tracking and continuous integration and maintenance of existing software products.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancement
• Maintain documentation for application development and use guilds
