Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a senior backend developer specializing in C# and REST APIs to join our Makati team. You will work on MS SQL, Angular 12.0+, and related UI/JS technologies, contributing to secure and scalable enterprise solutions.

You’ll collaborate with our Australia team, contribute to design, development, testing, and documentation, and participate in a rigorous release and CI/CD process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years in IT industry.
• 6+ years PHP backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Symfony Framework and Composer dependency manager.
• 6+ years MS SQL development.
• 3+ years Angular 12.0+ or higher; React knowledge is a plus.
• 3+ years JavaScript, HTML, CSS knowledge.
• Release Management and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and document high quality software solutions that meet and exceed business and operational requirements.
• Maintain software systems aligned to stakeholder requirements and CI processes, including code review and release management.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide enhancement feedback.
• Maintain documentation for application development and usage.

About the role:

The ideal candidate would bring solid experience in C# Development for backend and REST APIs, Entity Framework. Experience in MS SQL Development and in Angular 12.0 or higher is expected. Additional knowledge with JavaScript, VB .net application development, SSRS Reporting would be beneficial.

For this role, you would be working closely with Apex Group's Australia team.

This is an On-site role in Makati with 4 days in the office.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test and document high quality software solutions that meet and exceed business and operational requirements, interpret business requirements for projects and BAU changes, then transform them into effective software build.
• Maintain software systems to ensure deliverables are aligned to stakeholder and client requirements, continuous improvement of software development processes, including code review, release management, testing, bug tracking and continuous integration and maintenance of existing software products.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancement
• Maintain documentation for application development and use guilds

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ experience in IT industry
• 6+ experience in PHP Development for backend applications
• Strong knowledge on Symfony Framework and Composer dependency manager
• 6+ experience in MS SQL Development
• 3+ Experience in Angular 12.0 or higher, React knowledge is plus
• 3+ JavaScript, HTML, CSS knowledge
• Release Management, CI/CD Pipeline knowledge
