Apex Group is seeking an experienced PHP backend developer with strong SQL and Angular skills to join our Makati team. You will design, implement, test and document software solutions, collaborating with our Australia office.

On-site in Makati with a four-day office week and a morning shift, you will contribute to REST API development and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years in IT, including 6+ years in PHP and 3+ years in Angular

About the role:

The ideal candidate would bring solid experience in PHP development, SQL development, and Augular.

Knowledge with C# Development for backend and REST APIs, Entity Framework. Experience in MS SQL Development and in Angular 12.0 or higher is expected. Additional knowledge with JavaScript, VB .net application development, SSRS Reporting would be beneficial.

For this role, you would be working closely with Apex Group's Australia team. This is an On-site role in Makati with 4 days in the office with a morning shift hours.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test and document high quality software solutions that meet and exceed business and operational requirements, interpret business requirements for projects and BAU changes, then transform them into effective software build.
• Maintain software systems to ensure deliverables are aligned to stakeholder and client requirements, continuous improvement of software development processes, including code review, release management, testing, bug tracking and continuous integration and maintenance of existing software products.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancement
• Maintain documentation for application development and use guilds

What You'll Bring

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ experience in IT industry
• 6+ experience in PHP Development for backend applications

• 6+ experience in MS SQL Development
• 3+ Experience in Angular 12.0 or higher, React knowledge is plus

• 3+ JavaScript, HTML, CSS knowledge
• Strong knowledge on Symfony Framework and Composer dependency manager
• Release Management, CI/CD Pipeline knowledge
