• Coordinate timely payment and monitor the performance of suppliers.
• Implement strategic contracting initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Manage project pre‑construction stages, collaborating to ensure timely execution.
• Conduct studies on cost‑saving initiatives and challenge supply‑chain procedures.
• Work on research studies for new materials and spearhead standardization.
• Address all supply‑chain related concerns with integrity and respect.

Job Overview

The Operations Research (OR) role plans all materials and services, oversees procurement across all categories, and manages supplier relationships to ensure efficient delivery pipelines and cost‑effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities in accordance with each facility’s requirements.
• Oversee supplier management and maintain the delivery pipeline.
• Collaborate with various Sector Planning groups to align material needs.
• Liaise with the Head Office Supply Chain Management team on vendor management, procurement activities, and inventory management.
• Coordinate timely payment and monitor the performance of suppliers and contractors.
• Implement strategic contracting initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders to assess opportunities and ensure alignment with management strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Manage project pre‑construction and pre‑execution stages, collaborating with proponents and strategic suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct studies on cost‑saving initiatives, challenge existing supply‑chain procedures to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Work with proponents on research studies for new materials and supplies, and spearhead simplification and standardization of processes and material requirements.
• Address all supply‑chain related concerns with integrity, honesty, and respect.
