Job summary

Unisys in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to deliver second-level HR support and implement HR processes across the region. You will handle employee relations, policy adherence, and timely service to staff, leaders, and the HR team.

The role emphasizes driving change initiatives, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies, and providing quality HR services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in generalist HR roles with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong employee relations experience with ability to advise leaders and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive in identifying issues with recommended solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide second level HR support to associates and leaders.
• Implement HR processes, including New Hires and Terminations in the covered regions.
• Drive change management initiatives, often on a project basis.
• Ensure local HR practices comply with Government and company policies.
• Deliver prompt, accurate HR services and respond to inquiries from employees, managers and HR team.
• Represent the company at mediation/external meetings as required.

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides second level of support to associates and leaders by responding to asks/requests or providing advises, recommendation on HR-related services.
• Implement HR processes and solutions in line with established policies, practices and procedures. These processes include New Hires and Terminations in the covered regions
• Undertaking change management initiatives, which may involve planning, driving, implementing and managing the change often on a project basis
• Ensure local HR practices and standards conform to Government and company policy, guidelines and initiatives
• Prompt, accurate, consistent and quality Human Resource services in the region. Responds to inquiries from employees, managers as well as the HR team (including the AP HR Directors).
• Representing the company at mediation/external meetings regarding employment relations cases, as required Reporting and analysis

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years in generalist HR roles with increasing responsibilities - all HR functions
• Strong Employee Relations experience with ability to provide good advice to leaders and employees
• Good written & oral communication skills
• Comes forward in identifying issues with solution options well articulated
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks allocatedCommitment to adhere to defined HR processes
• Takes direction with ease & acceptance.
• Proficient in excel, word, powerpoint & other tools in the Microsoft Office program
