Responsibilities

  • Business Development: conduct market studies and monitor industry activities to support planning and developing new opportunities.
  • Financial Modeling: develop and maintain financial models and processes for evaluating opportunities and internal analysis; prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Project Feasibility Studies and Due Diligence: assist in due diligence and evaluation for priority projects; review laws, contracts, data, and info for decision making.
  • Special Projects: support and co-manage projects handled by the Business Development Group.

  • 1. Asset management - exposure to Burgos wind farm ops (commercial side, budgeting)
  • 2. Commercial management - Analysis, Decision Making (using financial model), Due diligence for transactions)
  • 3. Research - competitor analysis, material pricing and costing (research or talking with suppliers), analysis of power supply agreements, etc.
  • 4. Presentations to upper management and key external stakeholders
  • 5. Business development - development of greenfield projects (consenting - permits, lgu, business casing, etc) [Not sales per se]

As a Business Development Analyst, your work will revolve around driving the growth of the company’s energy business units.

Strong analytical and project management capabilities are at the core of the role.

  • Business Development. Conduct market studies and industry monitoring activities as support for planning and developing new business opportunities
  • Financial Modeling. Develop and maintain financial models and financial modeling processes for evaluating potential business development opportunities, internal financial analysis, and cost ‘management strategies - Create and consolidate management reports, corporate financial presentations, and financial analysis presented to senior leadership
  • Project Feasibility Studics and Due Diligence - Assists in conducting due diligence and evaluation for priority projects, i.e. reviewing laws, rules, regulations, information, agreements, contracts, market and competition data, etc.; Assists in the preparation of presentations to management and external stakeholders for decision making and project approval.
  • Special Projects. Support and/or co-manage projects handled by the Business Development Group
