Responsibilities

• Interface between Factory Shipping, Supply Chain Analyst, Factory Planners and Customer Service for critical shipments.
• Coordinate priorities by analyzing urgency of expedited shipments and decide on the most optimal shipping method.
• Challenge and select the most appropriate ship method; request Premium Shipping Services as needed to meet delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to develop short-term recovery plans when required.
• Attend expedited shipment requests, approve shipments and validate instructions to Global Distribution Centers.
• Monitor end-to-end critical shipments with freight forwarders or available tools.
• Consolidate die expedite list to Die Bank and prepare packing lists for factories for urgent devices.
• Work with regional Command Centers in Europe and the US.

Traffic Analyst will be part of the Asia Command Center. Main responsibility is coordinate delivery to customer with line down issues, establish level of priority required, ensure close communication with Customer Service Representative/Supply Chain Analyst or manufacturing sites.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Interface between respective Factory Shipping, Supply Chain Analyst, Factory Planners, Customer Service and Global Distribution Center for critical shipments.
• Establish and coordinate priorities required by analyzing urgency of expedited shipment requests and be able to make decision on most optimal shipping method.
• Challenge special or priority shipping method and ensure most appropriate ship method is used. Request use of Premium Shipping Services such as Express Service, Next Flight Out or Handcarry as required to meet the delivery requirement to avoid line down.
• Work with Customer Service to develop a short term Customer Recovery Plan, when required.
• Attend to expedite shipment request received from Customer Service Representatives, approve shipments and validate instructions to Global Distribution Centers.
• End-to-end monitoring of critical shipments by coordinating directly with freight forwarding partners or with use of tools available.
• Consolidation of die expedite list to Die Bank, and separate packing list to factories for urgent devices.
• Work hand-in-hand with Command Centers from other regions such as in Europe and US.
