Job summary

Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc. seeks a Single-skilled Craft Technician for the Ammonia Refrigeration Plant. You will operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain the fully integrated ammonia system including freezers, tunnels, cold storage, and related cooling systems.

The role requires 2–5 years hands-on experience with industrial NH3 refrigeration, ability to interpret P&IDs, and a strong safety mindset. Training and career development are provided within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems in food manufacturing, cold storage, or industrial facilities.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment manuals, and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the refrigeration system to meet production cooling loads.
• Log and analyze operating parameters; adjust equipment to optimize utility use; monitor SCADA alarms.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repairs; ensure safety compliance with SOPs and SMPs.
• Support continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activities related to refrigeration.
