ALUMINUM & GLASS FABRICATOR AND MODULAR PARTITION FABRICATOR
QUALIFICATIONS
- With experience in aluminum and glass fabrication and installation.
- With experience in modular partition fabrication, assembly, and installation.
- Knowledgeable in glass partitions, aluminum frames, doors, windows, and office partitions.
- Knowledgeable in estimating materials, measurements, labor, and project requirements.
- Can perform measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, leveling, and installation.
- Can read and follow basic plans, drawings, measurements, and installation specifications.
- Knowledgeable in using hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment.
- Can accurately measure site dimensions and determine required materials.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and installing materials.
- Willing to work on-site and travel to different project locations.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Previous experience in carpentry, office fit-out, glass works, or modular partitions is an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate and install aluminum frames, glass partitions, doors, windows, and related aluminum and glass components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install modular office partitions and partition systems.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.
- Prepare material estimates and requirements based on plans, measurements, and project specifications.
- Perform cutting, drilling, fitting, assembling, leveling, and mounting of aluminum, glass, and partition components.
- Read and interpret basic plans, drawings, layouts, and installation specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, fitting, stability, and finishing of all installations.
- Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper installation.
- Coordinate with the project supervisor and other workers to ensure smooth project completion.
- Safely operate and properly maintain hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Properly handle, transport, and install glass, aluminum profiles, panels, hardware, and other materials.
- Identify and report material shortages, damaged components, measurement discrepancies, or installation concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at the fabrication shop and project site.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper handling practices, especially when working with glass and power tools.
- Perform repair, adjustment, and modification work when necessary.
- Complete assigned fabrication and installation tasks within the required project schedule.
