Overview

A Glass and Aluminium Installer is responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing glass panels and aluminum frames for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position involves working with specialized materials, tools, and equipment to ensure the accurate and safe installation of glass and aluminium products, including windows, doors, curtain walls, and partitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install glass panels and aluminum framing systems for windows, doors, curtain walls, storefronts, partitions, and skylights as per project specifications.
• Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut glass and aluminum materials to fit the specified dimensions and designs.
• Assembly: Assemble aluminum frames and support structures, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing glass and aluminum frames.
• Ability to work with different types of glass, such as tempered, laminated, or insulated glass.
• Knowledge of various tools like glass cutters, drills, and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions.
