Job summary

SecureAir Corporation is seeking a tool and equipment specialist in the Philippines to ensure proper handling, tagging, and calibration of precision tools used in aviation maintenance. The role requires a related engineering degree and familiarity with aircraft tools, manuals, and reporting procedures.

You will coordinate with Logistics and Maintenance Planning to ensure tool readiness, serviceability, and proper documentation, returning items promptly and maintaining calibration schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance or any airline related degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools/equipment are serviceable, complete, and correctly identified when received from logistics/purchasing.
• Update records and check brochures/manuals accompany new tools/equipment.
• Inspect and tag tools; report damage with written explanation; coordinate with Maintenance Planning for disposition.
• Return loaned tools/equipment to Logistics promptly after task completion.
• Maintain calibration due dates for precision measuring tools; route unserviceable items for repair or testing.

Job description

• Must be a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance or any airline related degree.

• Versatile in special aircraft tools & calibration

• Check tools / equipment returned after use for damage and proper tagging before putting it back to the designated storage bin / area. If damaged, demand for a written report from the last user / borrower detailing the cause and extent of damage. Coordinate with Maintenance Planning for disposition and/or replacement of damage tools / equipment.

• Check serviceability, completeness and correct identification of each tool / equipment received from logistics / purchasing. Update records as required.

• Check applicable Brochure / Manual such as Operation / Service / Maintenance Manual and Parts Catalog are received with newly purchased tools / equipment. Inform Maintenance Planning and Technical Publications of received documents.

• Return immediately to Logistics all loaned tools / equipment upon completion of the task.

• Maintain an updated record of calibration due date of all precision measuring tools and equipment. Send all tools and equipment to Logistics due for calibration and testing.

• Route all unserviceable tools / equipment to Logistics for repair and/or testing.
