MARIPOSA BUDGET HOTEL is seeking a Maintenance Technician specialized in air-conditioning to install, maintain, clean and repair AC units. The role covers heating/refrigeration work, including motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostat and fans.

The incumbent will perform primary duties such as inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing ACUs; cleaning per schedule; ventilating equipment; calibrating thermostats; installing new systems; and providing guest service and general

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains and repairs all types of ACUs
• ACU cleaning per schedule; cleaning beyond warranty by branch maintenance personnel
• Ventilates equipment and controls to ensure efficient operation
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
• Installs, replaces or repairs damaged equipment
• Calibrates thermostatic controls and adjusts settings
• Installs new air-conditioning systems including installation and maintenance
• Recommends preventive measures on the units
• Performs regular maintenance on cooling units
• Conducts daily routine inspections
• Acts as maintenance personnel of the based branch
• Helps in other maintenance-related work
• Acts as laundryman
• Cleans (hallways, lobby, stairs, parking and other areas)
• Assists guests; provides customer service
• Performs other tasks in operations as assigned
