Job summary

Encora is seeking a versatile Machine Learning Specialist to own the end-to-end AI development lifecycle. The role encompasses researching SOTA architectures and fine-tuning models, while also building production-grade pipelines, APIs, and robust MLOps practices.

You will collaborate with data engineers, backend developers, and product owners in a hybrid, on-site and two-days-per-week setup at BGC, Taguig City. A strong background in Python/SQL and ML frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field required; graduate degree highly preferred for research.
• 3+ years in a data science, ML research, or ML engineering role.
• Expert-level Python and SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD, and MLOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Research state-of-the-art architectures and foundational models for business problems.
• Fine-tune models and optimize production-grade pipelines and APIs.
• Design experimentation datasets and production data pipelines with feature engineering and data augmentation.
• Architect end-to-end deployment of models using containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build robust APIs and refactor research code into production-grade codebases.
• Mentor squad members and contribute to AI literacy and best practices.
