Job summary

Hunt St is seeking an Accounting Manager based in Manila with extensive Australian accounting experience. You will oversee offshore production, ensure compliance for Australian tax and reporting, and drive efficiency through AI-enabled workflows.

Hybrid work setup with 3 days in the Makati office and 2 remote days, with a focus on quality and timely delivery. The role requires CPA/CA (Philippine CPA acceptable), strong English, and hands-on SMSF exposure, supporting advisory work as needed.

Qualifications

Five years in Australian accounting including at least three years managing a production/delivery team.
CPA, CA or equivalent qualification required (Philippine CPA acceptable).
Hands-on Australian tax and compliance experience in an Australian practice or offshore team.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end production for offshore delivery: scheduling, workflow, capacity, WIP, QC, turnaround.
Act as escalation point across Australian compliance suite (business, SMSF).
Run pipeline against SLAs and hit turnaround targets.
Review management reports and financial models; not limited to compliance files.
Use AI to streamline prep and build AI-driven workflows across the team.
