Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced directors of public policy for flexible, project-based engagement. You will train AI models to produce professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong governance and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working within government agencies or public administration, with direct ownership of policy briefing memos and grant compliance packages.
• Strong command of public-sector writing conventions, rulemaking public comment procedure, and appropriations request narratives.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Develop policy briefing memos for agency leadership and interagency coordination reports.
• Prepare grant compliance packages and reporting narratives; manage constituent correspondence and case logs.
• Draft appropriations request narratives for agency budgets and respond to public comments.
