Job summary

SPHERE Technology is hiring to own the operational backbone of an AI-native HealthTech SaaS platform. You will set up development environments, CI/CD pipelines, QA frameworks, and audit trails to enable fast, compliant engineering across multiple languages.

The role is full-time or independent contractor, remote with US-based operations, starting immediately. You’ll work with AI tools daily to push a complex product roadmap in a capital-backed company.

Qualifications

• Must build software with AI coding tools daily using Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot.
• 3-7 years of engineering experience across the full stack.
• Strong QA and testing discipline; meticulous, not just functional.
• Comfort across multiple languages and frameworks.
• DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, cloud infrastructure).
• Self-directed work style; no daily standups required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare development environments and stage context before engineering sessions.
• Review code from sessions; regression testing, edge cases, bug docs.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, staging and production deployments, monitoring.
• Handle lower-complexity coding tasks with AI-assisted workflows (30-40%).
• Build tests, fix non-critical bugs, UI refinements, utility scripts.
• Prototype third-party API integrations (healthcare, payments, scheduling).
• Maintain documentation and audit trails; support compliance.
