Job summary

DatologyAI is seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer with deep ML/AI platform experience to support customers in a pre-sales role. You will partner with strategic prospects to understand data curation needs, constraints, and business goals, and design scalable solutions that showcase the DatologyAI platform's impact.

You will work hands-on with modern LLM/VLM training and evaluation, designing PoCs that connect data curation decisions to measurable outcomes in model quality, training

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software/ML platform roles with pre-sales experience.
• Strong ML model training knowledge across pre-training to post-training.
• Ability to design and interpret model evaluations and report findings to customers.
• Proven ability to answer practical deep learning questions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers to understand data curation needs and constraints.
• Lead end-to-end customer PoCs connecting data curation, training behavior, and evaluation outcomes.
• Collaborate with customer ML teams to map data and curation strategy.
• Design and execute evaluation plans for base and post-trained models with appropriate metrics.
• Produce customer-ready evaluation reports including baselines and ablations.
• Communicate technical results to ML experts and exec stakeholders, detailing tradeoffs in compute and cost.
