Job summary

Philippine Batteries Incorporated is hiring an AI systems engineer to advance enterprise AI across language, vision and sensing use cases in store operations and manufacturing. You will own end-to-end video and edge AI pipelines, build retrieval-augmented generation systems, and develop supporting services and interfaces in collaboration with data engineers and security teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Math, Physics), Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Three or more years in software or machine-learning engineering with production AI experience.
Certifications in Databricks ML or Generative AI, cloud platform certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

Build retrieval-augmented generation systems and AI agents, plus classification and generation workflows.
Develop knowledge assistants and AI-enabled applications based on user needs and available AI context.
Create end-to-end video and sensing pipelines, with governance and privacy controls.
Own video, edge deployments and model endpoints, with observability and cost management.
Ensure safety, reliability and compliance across language, vision and sensing use cases.
