Genpact Makati City seeks a Lead Consultant, Java Developer to design, build, and support scalable backend services with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud. You will collaborate across global teams to deliver robust RESTful APIs, ensure production stability, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

The role requires strong Java/Spring skills, experience with microservices, databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle), and hands-on cloud deployment.

Qualifications

• Database: PostgreSQL.
• Security: JWT Authentication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back end and full stack apps using Java 17+, Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Design, implement, and support microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Work with data persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate, PL/SQL, and relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy, operate, and support applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Participate in Agile delivery with a global team.
• Troubleshoot, provide production support, and conduct root cause analyses.
• Apply engineering best practices and advocate TDD.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and security scanning.
