Job summary

DXC Technology in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager (ITIL Version 5) to own and elevate our Service Configuration Management practice. You will safeguard CMDB/CMS accuracy, enable AI-driven insights, and support cross-functional teams across hybrid and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and stakeholder collaboration to drive value across change, incident, release, and asset management while aligning with ITIL best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related discipline.
• ITIL Foundation certification (ITIL Version 5 preferred; ITIL 4 Foundation accepted).
• Proven experience in Configuration Management, Asset Management, or Service Management within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL Service Configuration Management, CMDB, CMS, CI Modeling, Service Mapping, and Configuration Baselines.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ITSM/CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or similar tools.
• Experience with discovery tools and integrations across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Understanding of AIOps, AI-assisted Discovery, Anomaly Detection, Data Reconciliation, and AI-enabled Service Management practices.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and data quality management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Service Configuration Management practice aligned with ITIL Version 5.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of the CMDB/CMS, including CIs, relationships, standards, and baselines.
• Conduct configuration audits, reconciliation, and impact assessments to support effective change and release management.
• Leverage AI-powered discovery, automation, and analytics to improve CMDB accuracy, coverage, and data quality.
• Utilize AI and AIOps to identify configuration drift, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Embed configuration management within the ITIL Product and Service Lifecycle to support design, delivery, and improvement.
• Collaborate with Change Enablement, Incident, Problem, Release, and IT Asset Management to ensure CMDB drives cross-practice value.
• Maintain accurate service and dependency mapping that underpins service relationships and value co-creation.
• Provide configuration data and insight to service operations, architecture, and transformation initiatives.
• Define and report on configuration management KPIs and governance of AI usage.
