Job summary

Globe in the Philippines is seeking a Finance data engineer to build and maintain analytics and automation use-cases with AI-augmented development as part of standard delivery.

You will create scalable data products, implement AI-assisted development across code, testing, and workflow automation, and design production ETL pipelines with a focus on IFRS 9 ECL data lineage and risk analytics.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Python/SQL development
• CI/CD and version control basics
• ETL pipelines in production data platforms
• AI-assisted delivery experience
• Cloud data platform expertise (Databricks preferred)

Responsibilities

• Build and scale reusable data products that serve repeat demand across portfolios
• Apply AI-assisted development to code, testing, documentation, and workflow automation
• Design and operate production ETL -- ingestion, cleansing, rationalization, scheduling, monitoring
• Support credit risk model work, particularly IFRS 9 ECL validation and data lineage
• Translate business needs from Finance into technical solutions and actionable recommendations
